"Noted."
"Yup let him in he's cool."

I read the whole thing in James Lee's funky voice

Thanks for bringing up 24 in 24. Now I have to go watch them AGAIN.

This interview is interesting! Yes I read everything!

@Gribbus07 I didn't and I regret it now....

>favorite word is fuck

James Lee must love Vivziepop's works then,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Wonderful interview! James Lee has definitely become one of my favorite creators on both Newgrounds and YouTube. Cool to know a bit more about him! <3

"*It feels dirty pandering to an audience. Infantilizing. I’d prefer my audience knows I’ll do my best to speak my mind honestly, not just repeat their own thoughts back to them with pretty production gloss. It’s more respectful that way I think, even if I’m critiquing a guy you like. That’s the ideal at least."

Fucking yes, dude!

Interesting interview! Love the guy

BRAVO, love this interview and I would love to see him thriving through youtube and newgrounds. You have my congrats!

i wish James would jerk me off some day

Fun talking points in this one ☝️

One question... Why? LOL

Sick interview! James Lee inspired me a lot at a certain point, such a VIOLENTLY PASSIONATE CREATIVE. (fuck why is caps lock on???)

@Gribbus07 same lmao

Damn, it's great to hear from Lee in such a casual manner! NOX and his other works make him seem a little unhinged (that's probably what he wants), yet seeing him be just a guy who really digs animation and self-expression is a breath of fresh air, especially compared to the corporate shit that companies put out daily.
Someone with that amount of skill yet so humble is really inspiring as well, I get the feeling that no matter how many people sell themselves out or quit entirely, i can always rely on Lee for having a nuanced take or just a great animation out the oven. Hope to hear more from him soon!

bro my brain read the entire thing in his voice lmfao

damn dude you didnt ask him for a TARBOY sequel
DAMNN

Nox da internet legend fR

Seeing how there were falls and rises for JamesLee, he will always be a big inspiration out there. And always having extra deck of cards up his sleeves. Whether it's animations or ideas... they were all fully fleshed out and delivered well. Despite Tarboy having struggles he still kept going, and whilst YouTube with its shitty algorithm and treatment towards animation industry never gives proper treatment. It's still highly appreciated Newgrounds and other fans got to have time to enjoy his creations so he's in a better spot. And hopefully stays that way.

Can't wait to see more stuff from him as usual!

Found James Lee through Howard Wimshurst's channel. A Life Without Facebook blew my face off, a month ago tomorrow.
I love how he fearlessly shares his FX secrets. Even if one could replicate his technique, his style is wholly unique. His frigging comic timing is masterful. My sides hurt from laughing at Breaking Up With Adobe.
