Fascinating person. Eloquent man. Thank you

A most legendary review just a few hours before Cyberdevil heads off to the great Northern Norths! Some astoundingly astute and provocative sentiments shared here, including some fun trivia unbeknownst to me, even as a CyberD junkie. I found the A to "Q: Great picks. Would also like to mention..." (which looks to be double-posted by accident ;)) particularly profound and an apt view I have regarding art but haven't discovered the proper articulation for.

thanks for the shoutout! The S3Cyberdevil broship precedes back to early 2008. To be precise, January 11th: https://web.archive.org/web/20080317060638/http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/115590

@Cyberdevil I noticed you had favorited an ancient track of mine, Diamond Rimz, and asked you if you wanted to drop some lines over a new version I had been working on, after hearing your first audio upload following your NewGrounds hiatus. That instrumental and vocals were finished in 2014, but never uploaded due to some phantom syncing issues if you recall. But prior to that in the summer of 2013 (might have been summer 2014) also gave you a bunch of unfinished hip hop loops that I had, including "My Mind is a Sandbox (The World is a Toy)" which was developed into a full instrumental and became Summer Stuff/After Summer Stuff.

thanks for sharing, and I hope this was a worthy nostalgia bomb

Thanks for catching that! Long day at work today so didn't give it the usual scan that I do. My bad. Glad you liked it!

This was an awesome read

Yeah, Bob is good at music, indeed!

Neat! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for setting them facts straight @S3C, though no need to go spreading false rumors regarding my yearly trip, first bit's not until the end of next week. ;)

I do recall those phantom syncing issues indeed, though that we really didn't get to orchestrating any collaborative enterprise earlier than that... been going back and forth a long time even before the music huh. Maybe I really wasn't as confident in my verse-writing capabilities back in the day.

Worthy nostalgia bomb indeed! Surprised to hear Diamond Rimz came to fruition first after those other ones too...

Thoroughly enjoyed this interview too @The-Great-One. Many thanks for both honor and high praise!

I finally know everything that is worth knowing in this world.

So this is one of the things I missed while I was away. Great interview, of course. @CyberDevil has a way with words and I like that you've asked questions about all sorts of things inspired by your own experience with his work. Maybe there could have been something about reviewing, but I'm a bit biased in that regard haha (also, he's probably talked about it a lot at this point). Interesting reading about his education days, I like that sort of jack of all trades thing. Nice to see for all of us who haven't quite figured out what we wanna do yet. I appreciated the honest retrospective and insight into the work process. The fact that he knows the way to greater efficiency but can't always stay on it is refreshing to hear. I'm not trying to say I'm glad about it. I do hope you can find that creative continuity you're looking for, CD. It just gives me some hope that I'll be able to do stuff even if I'm not really efficient yet. To know even guys like CD struggle with it. He's not a machine, after all. Though, actually, judging by the name... who knows?
Fun interview! Very glad to have read it.

Thanks for the thoughtful response @TheReviewTrickster, hope so too, and you can do it! Excellence is all a matter of honing!

As far as reviewing goes I think I do appreciate that this didn't delve too much into that area, but maybe in a sequel hmm. :) Refreshing to speak on some things I don't usually get to speak on otherwise; didn't expect to be asked. Variety keeps you inspired.
